I love eating anything while watching sports matches: chips, Lay’s, popcorn, frosted cabbage, and so on, and so forth. It seems like I need to taste something flavorful first to satisfy myself. I know that snacks are not good for the body, but self-control seems unattainable for me. Even fat-free pretzels aren’t very healthy because they contain a lot of carbohydrates. So, I chose edamame, but although it’s better than my usual snacks, it’s still not very healthy due to its high sodium and artificial flavors. Now, I’ve found YuPik roasted soybeans, which are exactly what I was looking for??unsalted, crunchy, and delicious. A quarter cup of beans only has 140 calories, and there are plenty of beans in each serving. Using my reliable 18-ounce cup, I eat one bean and then take a sip of water. I haven’t gained weight or caused my blood sugar to spike. These roasted soybeans come loose in a bag. To help with my weak willpower, I put a quarter cup of beans in a small sandwich bag and place it inside the larger bag. This way, I can bring the small sandwich bag to my seat instead of the big bag. For me, this works, and I can tell that I’m on the right track. I can enjoy snacks without causing my blood sugar to spike too much, and I’m losing weight!If you’re like me, I also recommend trying these roasted soybeans as your go-to snack, along with a large glass of water (that word is w-a-t-e-r, not b-e-e-r).
